We’re delighted to announce that Callum Graham-Rack has become our fifth new winter signing in what is fast becoming a transformative pre-season for the club.
Callum went to school in Harrogate and played his junior and early senior at cricket at Spofforth before moving to Newcastle for University. After completing his degree, he remained in the North East and spent 3 seasons playing at Newcastle Cricket Club, playing primarily as a top-order batsman.
After re-locating back to Harrogate Callum was looking for a new club and having discovered Newby Hall, thought it was a perfect fit. Callum says that he is “really excited to get stuck into the new season with Newby Hall – hopefully contributing with some runs and definitely contributing with some pints along the way”.
After being pushed on what in particular made Callum choose Newby, given that he’s not got a history with the club, he noted that he received “good feedback and reviews” about the club and that we have “a great ground with an on-site club house” – all great reasons to choose to join Newby Hall.
